Media Analysis Assignment

Rip! a remix Manifesto is about copy right's, they are talking about how copy righting should be legal. This film does show bias because in this film there are a lot of different opinions on how copy righting should or should not be legal. Walt Disney sued this man for drawing out and using mickey mouse for things. This man that Walt Disney sued he was still using and drawing out mickey mouse after he had been sued, this man was drawing very inappropriate pictures using mickey mouse in the drawings.

Walt Disney also sued a daycare for copy right because on the side of the daycare building it had a painting of mickey mouse on it. The daycare didn't know that it is a copy right because the daycare people just looked at the painting as just a painting and a decoration to their building, so they didn't know you could be sued for something like that. The daycare should have been warned on painting over the mickey mouse painting or they will be sued, I think it is ridiculous on how people don't get warnings or explanations on things like this, they just get hit with being sued.

Everyone is arguing about how copy righting should or should not be legal. I think that in the future copy righting is going to become more strict. I also think it is ridiculous how Walt Disney sued a daycare for having a painting of mickey mouse on the side of their building its not like it was an inappropriate picture they used and the owner was not trying to make money off of the painting. I think copy righting should be legal because its not that big of a deal, unless you are using it for or as inappropriate things then people could come after you and sue you but they should at least give you a warning that they will sue you if you do not stop. They shouldn't allow people to sue others for innocent things like the whole painting on the daycare. In my opinion on this film is that I think they are making a good point and argument.
